Kassie and I planned to say our final good byes at the Coffee shop at 8 am.   Just after we sat down I noticed the clock said seven. We totally forgot all about Daylight Saving Time. Wow, we had an whole extra hour.

What were the chances of gaining that ONE hour and being able to make changes in our plans. Only God knows.

After a few moments and a big smile, Kassie asked me if I had time to follow her down to Anderson, SC for church.  "YES, I would be happy to follow you and make sure you had a safe trip".  My plans to visit my daughter and grandchildren in Ellijay, GA were very flexable.

Drive time down to Anderson was less than two hours so we had plenty of time to enjoy a little breakfast.

Getting to know more about Kassie, her church and friends was ALL planned by God, I'm sure.  Kassie was very active in Christ Church for the years she lived with her parents, Zach and Sue Wells.

The 11 O'clock service was just being seated and with the smiles I was getting from almost everyone I really felt welcome at her church.  When the service ended I even had the opportunity to meet her pastor and closest friends Bill and Tommie Gouche.

When Kassie's mom learned I had driven back to Anderson following Kassie she wanted me to join them for dinner at their Lake Hartwell townhome so they could get to meet me also.
Meeting Kassie's parents was high on my list.

Kassie's Dad and I even had some time for a little walk to the boat house to see his boat.

Kassie's parents even invited me to spend the night in their guest room so I didn't need to rush to leave for my 136 mile drive up to Ellijay GA.  I let my doughter know I would be seeing them on Monday.  Noelle was happy to hear how things were going and looking forward to seeing me soon.

This beautiful sunset added God's touch to one of the most perfect days I had ever experienced.  Sue's delicious dinner put the finishing touches on a day that will be saved forever and ever.

Next stop, Ellijay, GA and new Grandaughter.
