TREE DOWN
Last nights heavy rain took down a dead tree and totally blocked our exit from leaving our rented cabin.

Too big and heavy to move. Where can I find an axe? Oh GOD what do we do now?

Wait.... I hear the motor of four wheeler.  We have only seen one other car on the road above for days.  We are two miles in from the main road.  Could they hear my shouting, maybe a loud whistle?

Only GOD could have sent us help within a minute.
Violet, who was driving the 4 wheeler heard my whistle and saw me waving my arms.

Her little drive beyond her normal way home allowed for a very welcome and helpful meeting.
It didn't take her long to see the kind of help we needed and quickly turned around and headed back to her cabin to get her husband Bill.

In less than 10 minutes Violet and Bill were back to help with a tow rope and chain saw.  WOW this was assume!

In no time Bill had the tree cut in two and with his tow rope pulled the tree off the road.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for very friendly and helpful neighbors in the Blueridge Mountains of Georgia.

Here are a few more pictures you might enjoy seeing of our adventures in Blueridge.

We stayed in the Bluerige area for 10 days in May 2022, and then headed back down to the Ellijay area to be closer to Noelle, John and family.
