Ray's Christian Cookie Recipe

Growing up I can remember the delecious Polish cookies my grandmother made at Christmas time.  They were called, Chruscike 'croost-chee-kee' in Polish.

Since I was never able to find my Grandmothers recipe, I decided to recreate them in an easier way.  Here goes...

In the Oriental Deli section your local grocery store you should find packages of WonTon Wrappers.  They will save you the extra work of mixing and rolling out the dough.

Also, while you are at the store pick up a box of powdered sugar and bottle of good quality cooking oil.

Pull one end through slit near end.

Cooking temperature at 375 F

Each small package should allow you to create 10 - 12 dozen cookies.

Angel Wings

Consider purchasing a second package of WonTon's and turn this bath into Angel Wings... here's how:

Cut the WonTon in half and then slit the middle.

Deep fry as before, turning once to cook both sides to a light golden.  Drip dry and sprinkle with Power Sugar.

May you enjoy and bring smiles to your loved ones with these tasty treats.

Thank you Grandma Majecki
