Ray and Kassie met through the Internet in 1998 at Christian Connection Matchmaker. Both had been single for many years. Through walking with the Lord, they each found healing, deliverance and a focus through the Holy Spirit; to first seek the Lord and His Kingdom, knowing that all the desires of their hearts would one day be met.
Without hesitation after reading Ray's personal profile and website, Kassie contacted Ray by email to encourage him on with his work for the Lord. She was very excited to find so many interests alike. Ray also was very delighted about what he read on Kassie's essay regarding her art and cooking talents plus being an entrepreneur herself along with a long list of other matching interests.
The Lord had already put things in place for them to meet. Ray had plans to fly from Vista CA. for a trip east to visit friends and his daughter...and since he was there, set up a wonderful dinner date at the world famous, beautiful Grove Park Inn above Ashville NC.
Everything that God does is perfect so don't be surprised how quick He turned His perfect match into a wedding celebration.
Kassie posted her notes below to keep our friends and family informed on the past few years.
Ray and I spent most of 1999 on the road traveling from
Anderson SC in March to New Orleans, Tucson to visit family, California for Kassie to meet friends and Rays Church family at Westcoast Christian Center.
We went on a thrilling white water raft trip on theColorado and Green River with daughter Julie, her fiance' Jaron, and his family in May.
We were able to visit with missionary friends Iqbal and Kundan Massey, and visit Ray's precious Mom, Stella living in Victorville, CA. The Lord took her home during that visit, on June 10th. We miss her terribly, but know Jesus has her in His company now and maybe even helped her restart her old "Polka Time" radio program again. 1999 what a honeymoon year! Enjoyed the Yosemite area tremendously, and a wonderful 10 day stay in Carmel during 4th of July, a long stay in Santa Cruz in July and August among the redwoods and everything else one can do in that awesome area near San Francisco.
Then off in September for a week in Tahoe, and on to celebrated daughter Julie's and Jaron's wonderful... outside -in the Utah mountains; wedding!
We then moved on east and enjoyed a week up at Grand Lake, Colorado to visit Kassie's dear friend Elaine Bussy who owns Winding River Ranch...then east back to E. Ellijay GA, to settle in with Ray's daughter Noelle and family for the turn of the Millennium.
Visiting my folks for our 1st anniversary celebration we returned to enjoy the wonderful Blue Ridge life and say good bye to our family and Missionaries for Christ church family before we packed up just in time to miss another ice storm coming in on Super Bowl Sunday.
Our first stay for this year was in Panacea, Florida, where Ray sold his very first website to www.holidaycampground.com . We sure enjoyed the waterfront camp site with our big picture window on our rig facing the gorgeous bay. We filled up on fresh oysters and fish during our month stay, and enjoyed a wonderful fellowship with River of Life fellowship. A huge Baptist church that was filled with the Holy Spirit and radically changed after attending Brownsville revival in Pensacola FL.
We took a trip to see what the rest of the Panhandle had to offer, and flipped when we saw the emerald blue turquoise water and snow white sand of Destin. We also came across the church of our hearts desire...in ministry and prophetic teaching...to equip us to minister and a place Ray can offer his video production skills: Christian International
God is opening up doors so much; a confirmation that we need to stay put---fulfilling a prophecy we received in 1999 back in Anderson, SC during Christmas. We feel, it is so perfect for us here.

The, fall of 2012, our eighth year in our home at the Santa Rosa Beach Golf Club. We were delighted with all the Lord had provided and especially with His encouragement to have vision for our neighbors by launching NeighborVision in 2010 for Walton County. Visit ALL of Ray's other websites.
In the Spring of 2014 and we moved to Sandy, Utah to be closer to my grandchildren, 6 year old twins, Lincoln and Cole and 11 year old Izaak.
Northern Utah, what a beautiful area with giant snow capped mountains and ALL four seasons to enjoy. Florida served us well for over 14 years but being out West and with family now has drawn us all closer.
In the Spring of 2017 Julie help us find a larger home and we moved to beautiful Holladay, UT just two miles away from family. The 2,700 square ft home gave us beautiful views of the Salt Lake valley below, three bedrooms, and a two car garage with a workshop for Ray. Talk about happy.
