Grandma Janina Rynkiewicz Zukowski

I remember Grandma Zukowski always had a warm and exciting house for us kids to explore and play in.  From what I can remember, her house was located at
2259 Quimby Ave, Bronx, NY.  Click link to explore area.

After grandma's three sons moved out, she always rented to borders to help pay the expenses.

Before my parents moved to Tucson, AZ in 1948. I can remember many holiday visits to grandma's.  Her red brick house had a basement and a backyard to play in.  I'm almost sure that the four housed on the left were not built 1947.  I just remember a big empty lot.

I'm going to ask my cousin Christina to help share her memories of grandma's house.  She and her mom and dad lived on Long Island and had many more opportunities over the years that they lived in New York to visit grandma and grandpa.
