It's easier for anyone to share their life stories by writing a book. I didn't want to do that, but I wanted to do something with the photo albums, audio tapes, and movies my parents and grandparents left.
1942 Raymond 3 years Old
This little guy didn't know what was waiting for him to do in just eighty short years.
Finally, the day arrived to start planning our future move away from the Salt Lake City area. This time I had promised to finish duplicating every saved picture and document my wife and I had in our possession. We were no more moving an extra trailer load of memory boxes.
With each of our moves over the past twenty-five years, we accumulated pictures and those from our parents and their stored collections after they all departed for Heaven.
How many generations of memories do you have in your collection?
A word of encouragement, don't wait eighty or more years. Consider hiring a Photo Manager to get the job done. You don't have to do it alone.
Protect your memories now from fire, floods, and natural disasters. Just remember how many sad stories you have recently heard on the news of families losing everything in a few moments.
If I have stirred you up and got you thinking about your priceless collection of memories, let me take you on a little journey by telling you my story. Ok?

The slide show at the top left will give you a 7-picture snapshot of my life (if you are reading my story on your smartphone, my seven slides are at the very top); the slides only give you a quick preview of what is to come. Below that is my 8mm movies. You can skip them for now.
Using today's technology to tell my story has given me access to every current method. No longer tied to the limits of publishing a printed book, I can use all media for my tools. On this page alone, you have access to my written words, my pictures, a slide show, old movies, and even music favorites from my growing-up years, Plus the ability to click on Hyperlinks to open up additional items like seeing the house where I grew up on Google Maps.
The tools we now have to help tell our stories are fantastic, and the memories we save today can also be preserved FOREVER.
The best part of using Internet tools is adding more stories and details whenever we think of something new. You can't do that with a printed book.
Now back to my story.
In this
starting chapter I would like to go back and see just how much I can remember
from my early,early memories.
Let me take you back to the first house I
remember living in. At 1242 Pinchot Place in
1947
To visit my old neighborhood, Click Google Maps will take you to the front door. The wall you see in front was not there in 1947, before we moved to Tucson, AZ.
Google Maps provide a perfect way to travel back in time to visit the towns, cities, and neighborhoods we still remember. You will likely find your old house just where you left it.
Each of the pictures you see below will open up the memories I had during that time. Click on the links below the photos, and they will lead you to more of my story. Please understand that this page will continually grow and never be finished as long as we are making fun memories to share.
