Proverbs 18:22 He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord.  Proverbs 19: 14 Houses and riches are an inheritance from fathers, But a prudent wife is from the Lord.

How Kassie and I first met?  Ladies first...

My experience beginning last year 1997 with the website Christian Connection (single meeting site) has been rewarding, and extremely fulfilling.  The many friends I have grown to love; college students, other Christian women, deeply committed friends, even several pastors all interested in sharing what the Lord is doing in our lives.  I would never have met any of them any other way, all over the country!  God Bless all of you who work and witness at this wonderful ministry.

I also came to a deeper realization of myself; since becoming a totally sold out committed Christian in 1990.  I was "set apart" in preparation by the Holy Spirit, with no dating of any kind for almost 8 years.  My experience on CC with my new on line friends helped me to know what God was insisting in my desires for the man He would have me be united with.  "He will give you the desires of your heart."  That helped me create my essay of what I needed, and as important; what I could not put up with, so to say.  Or be completely joyful in my singleness, as I was.  I wanted only what God had chosen for me before I was created...Jer. 1:5, 29:11.

After hearing what the Holy Spirit was ministering to my spirit, I wrote my new essay in May.  It was strong and determined, as one acquaintance wrote "weed out the flakes".  When something is written with the Holy Spirit, you do not need to fear the outcome.  Just rest and watch.

However, one night I pondered in meditation if the Lord wanted me to continue on CC.  I had "shut down" and an excited Spirit reminded me of Ray..."what about that Computersaints guy?" who had made this special website that I had jotted down the address to.  He lived in Vista, CA., and I already knew the frustrations of long distance romances.  Someone has to move, and that can be difficult when you are involved with your family, friends, businesses and church.  But I was prompted to boot back up, and was totally ecstatic with this Godly man who was so accomplished!   I really wondered if he would have time to write back...or have time to read my long (11 page) essay of my requirements!

I wrote him anyway, and the next evening this is what he wrote back... "Your profile spoke many things to my heart and sparks flew."  I felt the desire to draw near and allow those sparks to light the light of a Christ centered relationship.

We continued to "hear" from each other in ways that I never dreamed possible.  We have hit the "mother Load" as Ray put it after meeting me October 22, 1998 at the Grove Park, Asheville, NC.

(The first time Ray ever saw me in person,
He took this picture as I opened my hotel room door)

A romance as pure and sweet as living
water could be.  Creative juices of the vine, pour out of us!  Tender mercies, rich full of the abundant life our Lord promises.

We had fun and laugh and sing.  EVERYTHING IS FUN!  What a Joy!

He says it for both of us; that the joy is so abundant we can hardly contain it!  It is so new, so fresh, as virgin soil...the well being drilled is hitting oil...the oil of life and love and hope and desire for more of this living water.  Oh what God has done!   Oh His Mercy endures forever...for ALL who believe!

Every joy is filled with the promises of God!  All because we have said YES to our Lord God, Yahweh, our redeemer and saviour; Jesus Christ.

My deliverance from the pit back in 1990, had a promise in it that kept me going through all the trials, the lonely dark days of despair, heartache, healing.  I praise God for His truth that set me free,  His word, His work by fire, His anointing for ministry, His saving me over and over from wrong choices; even in this last year!  To refreshing me for service by this incredible story "As by Fireby Kelly Segraves.

I encourage you to get a copy of the film Ray produced for Kelly "Without Excuse"  Ray is so gifted, and uses what God has blessed him with.  If you have an idea and need help getting started...team up with us!  God's ideas are flowing.

Visit the incredible Grove Park Inn where we met for the very first time in Asheville N.C.  What a wonderful place! We also toured the Biltmore Estate and had a romantic picnic along the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Visit the Bellagio website to see a hotel you must not miss when visiting Las Vegas, and witness the beautiful dancing fountains where Ray proposed, while he heard Gene Kelly sing "Singing in His Reign," at least that's what I think he was singing.

We were married on my daughter Julie's birthday; January 23, 1999. Our honeymoon was a 4 day cruise out of Miami to the Caribbean.  This was a first big ship experience for Ray and he was getting over a bad cold.  We both had a great time and it has since lead to many, many more ship cruises for us over the years.

Ray moved to South Carolina December 7th 1998 and continued to do his web designing along with video productions.

God had already moved his daughter, grandchildren and family to Georgia in the summer of 1998.  I met 31 members of his family and his wonderful mother Stella at a family reunion in Las Vegas.  Open doors are everywhere with living water and a precious God who is meeting all our needs.

I asked Ray if after knowing me, if my essay matched what he sees in real life.  He said, "read it to me sweetheart".  As I read the entire 11 pages, mostly all requirements of the man, experience and God had posted in my being...with tears I said..."I'm describing you my darling"! Wooooow.

Yes, God knows every hair, every cell, every need.  He knows the plans He has for Kassie and Ray, their brothers and sisters in Christ, their family and friends and all they are able to help know Jesus; to Glorify God and enjoy Him forever!

May we have the time to lay a sweet abundance at His feet, at the Throne of Grace in Glory...in full joyous, tremendous Thanksgiving for what He has done...for you too...all at the cross!

In His Love Forever,  Kassie
